Terms & Conditions

1. What we do
You tell us the minimum cargo limit you need, and we confirm, directly with the carrier's insurance company or agent, whether that carrier's cargo legal liability insurance is active and meets it. On request, we'll also confirm the assigned driver and vehicle are on the carrier's policy. Every check comes with a written report you can keep, showing what we confirmed, the limits, and how we checked.
We return completed checks promptly. A completed confirmation is good for 24 hours. After that, ask for a new one before tendering another load to that carrier.
We don't check auto liability, general liability, or workers' comp, and this isn't fraud or identity verification. We confirm cargo insurance, nothing more.
2. What we need from you
- Accurate carrier information: legal name, MC/DOT number, and the carrier's insurance details, including the policy number.
- The minimum cargo limit to check against. You decide what's “enough,” not us.
- Carrier authorization. We contact each carrier's insurer or agent on your behalf, so the carrier must have authorized it, through your carrier paperwork or a signed release (we can supply one). Please have this in place before you submit a carrier; without it, we may not be able to complete the check.
- No insurance of your own is required for standard per-verification use. (At higher, ongoing volumes under a Master Services Agreement, basic general liability coverage may be requested, as set out there.)
3. Pricing & payment
Verifications are billed at the price shown at the time of your request ($59.99 per verification unless otherwise agreed in an Order Form), paid up front, with no platform fee, monthly minimum, or annual commitment. We begin once payment is received. If a payment is overdue, we may pause service until it's caught up. Your first verification may be provided at no charge at our discretion.
4. If we can't reach a carrier
You always decide which carrier to use. If we can't verify one, you're still free to use them. When a carrier or its insurer/agent doesn't respond, we make two attempts over a short window (we aim to resolve this within about two business days) before reporting the carrier unreachable, at no charge to you. If both attempts fail:
- The attempt isn't billed as a completed verification, and you can request a new check anytime.
- You may choose a refund of that verification's fee (within 10 business days) or roll over to a different carrier at no charge. If that second carrier also can't be reached after its own two attempts, we send proof of all attempts and the request is fulfilled.
Once we complete a check, the request is fulfilled and no refund is owed, whatever we find. Whether a carrier comes back insured, underinsured, or lapsed, you've received an accurate report of what's true at that moment, and you decide what to do with it.
One exception: if a carrier won't cooperate mainly because you hadn't set them up to (for example, your paperwork didn't ask them to work with us), we may bill that attempt as a normal check.
5. What we can and can't promise
We use professional, commercially reasonable methods and report accurately what we find. But we confirm only what's true at the moment we check. Coverage can lapse the next day, which is outside our control. This isn't legal advice, and your compliance decisions are still yours.
6. If something goes wrong
Our liability is capped at the fees you paid us in the last three (3) months. Neither of us covers indirect damages like lost profits. This cap doesn't apply to privacy breaches or the promises just below.
You cover us for third-party claims from your misuse of the service, your own carrier choices, or a carrier's claim arising from us acting with your authorization, unless we were grossly negligent or acted willfully.
We cover you for third-party claims from our own gross negligence or willful misconduct, or if our service infringes someone else's intellectual property.
7. Keeping things private
We keep your information confidential and protect it with commercially reasonable safeguards. If a security breach affects your data, we'll tell you within 72 hours of confirming it. Use our reports for your own business, not for resale.
If you ever need it for a claim or audit, you can request Verification Proof (an add-on shown in your Order Form), a copy of our verification correspondence and contact log, and share it with the shipper, insurer, adjuster, or advisor who needs to see it.
8. Term
These Terms apply to each verification you request and continue to govern your use of the service on a per-verification basis. Either party may stop using or offering the service at any time. If your usage grows, we may offer our standard Master Services Agreement; once signed, it replaces these Terms and governs from then on. If service ends mid-way through a Section 4 attempt, your refund-or-rollover right still applies until that request is resolved.
9. The standard stuff
These Terms, together with any applicable Order Form, are the whole agreement between us for per-verification service, governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Notices go to the email addresses on file. If we disagree, we'll talk it through first; if that doesn't resolve it, disputes go to the state or federal courts in Dallas County, Texas.
Neither of us is responsible for delays outside our control, and if any part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest still stands. The privacy, liability, and indemnity terms, and payment for any completed work, survive after you stop using the service. Neither of us can transfer these Terms without the other's written okay, except as part of a merger or sale.
