The problem we kept seeing
Our roots are in cargo claims. Time and again, the pattern was the same: legitimate claims denied over what looked, on paper, like a small detail: a driver who wasn't listed on the policy, a vehicle that wasn't scheduled, coverage that wasn't actually in force the way everyone assumed. The freight moved, something went wrong, and when the claim was filed, an internal policy condition no one had checked became the reason it was denied.
The people left in the worst spot weren't the fraudsters. They were the cargo owners and the brokers who had acted in good faith and simply hadn't had a way to confirm, at the moment it mattered, that the driver and truck on the load were actually covered.
Why Clear Path Verify exists
CPV was built to close that gap: a fast, independent, per-load control that confirms the cargo coverage is active and that the specific driver and vehicle are listed on the policy before the freight ever moves.
That does two things at once. It moves the moment you learn about a coverage gap from after a loss to before the tender, while you can still change the outcome. And it leaves something brokers rarely have when a dispute arises: clear, time-stamped documentation of exactly what was confirmed and when.
